What is a Freight Lift/VRC?

Freight Lifts, or Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRCs) are a safe, economical way to raise and lower materials in factories, warehouses, distribution facilities, industrial plants, institutions, or anywhere that products or supplies need to be moved from one level to another. VRCs are not elevators and are not certified to transport people.

Why Choose Autoquip

Autoquip’s Freight Lifts provide an exceptional solution for transferring high-capacity freight between mezzanine levels. Autoquip’s vertical reciprocating conveyor manufacturing solutions provide a safe, economical, and reliable solution for your vertical lifting challenges all within a small footprint per your specifications. All our VRCs & freight lifts meet or exceed the requirements of ASME B20.1 (Safety Requirements for Conveyors and Related Equipment). Autoquip VRC’s are designed so they can be installed as freestanding units or designed into the facility structure itself. Freight Lift VRCs are the ideal solution for transporting materials and products to elevated mezzanine levels for assembly or inventory control systems.

How to Choose the Right Freight Lift

When choosing the right Freight Lift for your business, you should consider the following factors: how high you need to lift materials, how much weight you need to lift, how much space you have available for the Freight Lift, and what type of materials you will be lifting. It is also important to note that Freight Lifts cannot transport people. You can check out Autoquip’s website to view all our offerings for Freight Lifts. Or contact us today and we’ll help you choose the right product for your application.

We want to work with you on your material handling applications.

From lift tables to vertical reciprocating conveyors, we can help you specify the right product for you lifting and work positioning needs.
